What: The Diaspora Demo Summit is the largest gathering of African and African-American led startups and social enterprises outside of the continent of Africa. Aimed at spotlighting the next wave of Diaspora innovators, this years event showcases 12 dynamic businesses from a variety of different sectors as well as a live stream session from HopStop.com and GigaMeet Founder Chinedu Echeruo, a keynote from New Wave President & CEO Patrick Munis and a panel on diversity and inclusion moderated by Anie Akpe, CEO of IBOM LLC featuring Microsoft’s Melinda Moyo, Daily Spark Media Founder Muoyo Okome and Mitu Yilma and Tia Ayele of Addis Ideas. The Summit also offers a suite of complimentary workshops and founders forums covering the latest news, announcements and happenings impacting business development in and around the Diaspora.
