Green Mango Compote


  • 1/2-cup water
  • 1/2-cup honey
  • 1/2-cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated lime peel
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 large green mangoes (5 to 6 pounds), peeled, pitted, diced

Cooking Instructions

  1. Stir first 5 ingredients in large bowl until honey dissolves.
  2. Mix in mangoes and cook until mangoes are soft.
  3. Cover; chill up to 1 day.
