Green Mango Compote
- 1/2-cup water
- 1/2-cup honey
- 1/2-cup fresh lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon grated lime peel
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 4 large green mangoes (5 to 6 pounds), peeled, pitted, diced
- Stir first 5 ingredients in large bowl until honey dissolves.
- Mix in mangoes and cook until mangoes are soft.
- Cover; chill up to 1 day.
