The Yale Undergraduate Association for African Peace and Development presents its fourth annual conference themed Ubuntu : Collaboration for African Development. This year’s conference will center on conversations about creating alliances across different fields to push for holistic development on the continent.

It will feature distinguished speakers including Donald Kaberuka, former president of theAfrican Development Bank; Ibukun Awosika, CEO of the CHAIR Foundation; and Obiageli Ezekwesili,Vice President of the World Bank Africa Region and co-founder of Transparency International.

The conference will feature 5 discussion panels titled The New Era of African Education, The Afropolitan and the Popular Culture, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and Women and Government, and Social Justice. Attendees will also have the chance to connect with a variety of multinational and African businesses and NGOs at our career fair (including BCG, McKinsey, One Acre Fund, the World bank group, Dalberg, etc.); and a chance to enjoy authentic dishes and performances from all across the continent at our African night market.

The conference will conclude with a closing banquet and an after party.
