Starting off by hoping to do one thing really well “The worlds best and boldest loungewear” – designed to be worn indoors or outdoors; night and day. Walls of Benin‘s aim is to help consumers look their best whilst doing their best.
For far too long there has been a choice between the two – Walls of Benin changes this and makes it easy to be ethical whilst being stylish and comfortable, by making our clothes with Ethical partners in Africa, Walls of Benin helps our community literally change the world in their sleep.
The company eventually aims to expand beyond loungewear and to build out their platform (to create and) retail other brands in the ethical luxury and African design space – building an African Asos x Farfetch with a twist.
The brands big ambitions are reflective of the name – The Walls of Benin, of the Kingdom of Benin, now in modern Nigeria – was the biggest man made structure ever – built by the King of the Benin Empire in the 16th century.
