Blavity is hosting its second annual AfroTech Conference, the largest black millennial tech conference on November 10th and 11th, 2017 in San Francisco.

Situated conveniently at Pier 27 on the Embarcadero waterfront, Blavity anticipates 1500 plus in person attendees, doubling the attendance of last years inaugural conference, in addition to thousands online. Major partners include industry leaders such as: Capital One, Google, Johnson & Johnson, Tinder, Facebook, and more who will hold office hours for prospective new hires, and participate in interactive workshops and conversations throughout the conference. AfroTech is designed as the perfect opportunity for companies committed to engaging and authentically connecting with a diverse talent pool in order to showcase their offerings and build connections with future innovators.

Additionally, AfroTech 2017 will feature three tracks consisting of workshops and fireside chats where participants can gain tangible takeaways through customized programming. Topics to be covered include: design, data, and engineering, business scaling for entrepreneurs and startups, building strong teams, and growth marketing. There will also be a student component that allows undergraduate students access to the makers and change agents of tomorrow, and new opportunities.
