Machel became the country’s first Education Minister after the declaration of independence and is the Former First Lady of Mozambique and South Africa.

Fred Swaniker, a globally recognized entrepreneur, is the founder of four pan-African organizations that aim at developing leaders – African Leadership Academy (located in South Africa), African Leadership Network, Africa Advisory Group and more recently, African Leadership University, which is developing a network of 25 new tertiary institutions across the continent.
